Ying Fang is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education at Central China Normal University. Her work lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence in education, learning analytics, intelligent tutoring systems, and educational assessment. She holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Memphis and has held research and industry positions at Arizona State University, Soomo Learning, and the Institute for Intelligent Systems. Her research focuses on designing and evaluating AI-supported learning environments, including intelligent tutoring systems, stealth assessment, literacy support, and data-driven approaches to understanding learning. She has published in leading venues in AIED and educational technology and has contributed to interdisciplinary research bridging education, psychology, and data science.
