Valéry Psyché is a regular professor of educational technology at TÉLUQ University. She holds a Ph.D. in cognitive computing and an M.Sc. in physical sciences from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), as well as a licence (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) in physical sciences from the Université Joseph-Fourier (Grenoble-Alpes, France). She is a member of the Observatoire international sur les impacts sociétaux de l'AI et du numérique (OBVIA), the Institut of applied AI (I2A) and the Institut of cognitive sciences (ISC). She specializes in instructional design, ontological engineering, intelligent tutorial systems and, more generally, AI in education. She is involved in the scientific communities of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) and ICCE (International Conference on Computer in Education). Since the start of her career, she has taken part in numerous national and international research projects on the following subjects: ontological engineering, knowledge engineering, pedagogical engineering, intelligent tutoring systems and authoring systems, analysis of communities of practice, digital skills development, integration of AI in education.
